2003 Paisajes IX Rioja Red Wine

Another fine selection from importer Eric Solomon, the Paisajes IX (please don't ask us how to pronounce this!) is 50% Tempranillo and 50% Grenache. It's deep in color and is inky. It's got some all-spice to it, and some intense smokiness from the 14 months it spent in French oak. This is just starting to drink really well, and will last for the next decade at least!
